West Littleton is situated in the heart of countryside designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are numerous footpaths and bridleways in the area and the Cotswold Way passes nearby. It is an ideal centre for ramblers and walkers.

An important part of St James's church tombs and memorials project is to provide the opportunity for ramblers and walkers to stop and learn about the church and village by providing a well documented display of historical and heritage interest. This objective has been achieved, the displays being in the church porch and nave only yards from a footpath that runs right through the churchyard. A guide to West Littleton village and church has been produced which has much historical information and details of family histories of people commemorated on the tombs and memorials. It is available in the church and can also be downloaded using the link below.

Also available to download is a historical trail, aimed at children but suitable for all, based on the many points of interest in the village and the church.
